Hotels Near Seaworld/Discovery Cove

Can anyone recommend a hotel near Seaworld & Discovery Cove? There are two adults and four kids in our family, so a hotel with suites would be nice. However, if you have a hotel you love that only accomodates four in a room, tell me about it. We can always get two connecting rooms.

Embassy Suites on IDrive. I would recommend this ANYDAY. They have 2room suites with a kitchenette and separate bedroom with pullout couch. Tv's in both rooms, and a full service restaurant downstairs. It's about 2 miles from Sea World. We stayed there last December, and we've frequented there on most trips to Orlando.

Sounds like a nice setup. Does Embassy Suites have a shuttle that goes to SW? I would prefer to be able to walk to SW, but I'd be ok with a hotel that offered a shuttle.

I've not stayed in any but the Embassy, I enjoyed my experience there and that's why i'm recommending it. They do have a scheduled shuttle service to Sea World and Aquatica and so forth. It's also affordable, because the closer you get to the parks, the higher the rates (Hilton runs at 269$ a night)

I'd recommend the Parc Corniche as a good economical hotel. The rooms are suites with full kitchens (at least the ones I stayed in).

Only thing it lacks is a good on-site restraunt, but you're on I-Drive so that's not exactly a problem.

I stayed here every time I went to Orlando until I bought into DVC.

We got a good deal staying a Residence Inn sea world with breakfast and a 1 br suite. The cost includes tickets and then we paid for a second night at the regular rate. The room was $100 the first night and $200 the second. This is during Christmas week. They also have the buy 3 get 5 promotion.

My family and I are going to stay at the Springhill Suites near Seaworld. We haven't stayed there before, but it has 2 queen beds and a pullout sofa. And, the hotel is new. It has free breakfast also.

Renaissance and Hilton Garden Inn are closest hotels to SeaWorld (just across the street from SeaWorld's parking lot); Residence Inn is just a bit farther away; there are new Fairfield Inn and SpringHill Suites on International Drive that opened this past July which are very close to both SW and DC; Sheraton Vistana Villages are about a mile South of SW; and, if you go North of SeaWorld towards the Convention Center, there are many hotels (almost every hotel chain has a hotel in this area) and these hotels are just a mile or 2 from SeaWorld.
