Hotels near Orlando Airport

We are planning a surprise trip to WDW next October for our daughters and we are thinking about flying in the night before (after the girls get off school) and stay at a hotel near the Orlando Airport. But we would need a shuttle to get to and from the airport because we have the Magic Express as part of our package. Would somone be able to recommend a hotel for a family of four near the airport with shuttle service??

I can't recommend a hotel near the airport, but can tell you, AVOID, and I do mean, AVOID, the Econolodge near the Airpott. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my entire life. I thought I could stand just about anything for one night, but not this place. It was so bad that we left after 3 hours and sat in the Wilderness Lodge Lobby until we could check in and then were assigned a room 2 hours later.

I could go into more detail about the place, but that would take two pages.

We are staying at the Crowne Plaza Orlando Airport tomorrow. They do offer a shuttle to the airport. I can report back once i get back from my vacation.

Well your CLOSEST option is the Hyatt in the airport.

The ones below I have either stayed at or no someone how has. They all have shuttles

1. Fairfield Inn
2. La Quinta Inn and Suites
3. Marriott
4. Renissance
5. Courtyard by Marriott (airport)

Well, we spent the night at the Crowne Plaza Orlando Airport and we will definitely be back if we ever need a hotel near the airport again. Our room is huge with a super kingsize bed and balcony overlooking the impressive lobby. We have free internet. They have a great pool. The shuttle got to the airport very quickly and is complimentary. The staff are great as well. I think they have rooms with two queen beds as well. Chilis and Tony Roma is right across the road as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Hyatt right at the airport is very nice and there are many places to eat right there!!

I really appreciate it! We can save some $$ by flying in the day before but DH doesn't want the girls missing anymore schools then the two days for this disney trip....so we are just going to fly in that night and then catch Disney Express the very next morning.

We are going to stay at the airport the night before we leave (early flight) so I was wondering this as well. I am hoping to use Hotwire since I really don't want to spend much for such a short time.
