Hotels near Heathrow

Hey, have not really posted since return from Disney. But loved it so much may be booking trip again in August as a great deal has popped up for the international drive area. 2 weeks, flights and accommodation £625, so tempting that we are so close to booking it.

Anyway, looking at flights it is a Delta flight that we are looking at seems to depart at 9:45, according to the Delta website Heathrow is not a highlighted departure airport, that the minium time for check in needed is 60 mins, but we like around about 3 hours so there is no rush etc. can go around the duty free and grab a bite for breakfast etc. Anyway that will leave us with the time 6:45 which is a nasty time to drive to early in the morning from Norwich, that would be about a 3am departure at best. Therefore we are looking at maybe staying in a hotel near Heathrow on the Sunday night before.

Therefore I am asking that does anyone know of any cheap hotels or places that will be suitable to stay at on the Sunday night before departure, that are also local via tube or taxi to heathrow in the morning. There is 2 adults, if that helps. We aren't looking to spend a lot as it is literally just to sleep and disappear at a stupid hour in the morning.

We are flying out of heathrow in august and have booked tge premier inn bath road , stayed here a couple of times and always had a good stay . Onsite resurant and coffe shop , and about ten mintues from the terminal , hope this helps

Yes I was going to suggest the Premier Inn as well. The Bath Road is the A4 and it basically runs parallel to the North runway of Heathrow so you can't get an awful lot closer really! All the big hotels are on that stretch of road so you might find a deal if you look around. Avoid anything that comes up with Feltham, Hounslow, Langley or Slough for various reasons from not being in a good location to being too far away. I used to Live at the end of the north runway, well not literally you understand

We have stayed at the travelodge many times when flying from heathrow, I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but for around £15/£20 you can't go far wrong.

Quick questions re the premier inn. If we book the fly and park package can anybody explain what the partial meet and greet means?
We are flying out from T1 but we come into T4 so not sure if this would cause a problem or whether the hoppa bus runs from this or to this hotel.

I have used parkandgo.co.uk over the last few years as there are usually quite hard to beat, you can usually get a discount code on the net for around 11% off and also go through quidco. I have only used them for meet and greet so not sure about hotel deals.

We have stayed at the Travelodge Central, a short ride from the terminals using the Hotel Hopper bus. As we were arriving late and needed to be up early like yourselves, we didn't need an expensive hotel.

For our flight from LHR this year, I have just tonight booked the Heathrow Central Travelodge for £22 in July.
