Hi, I am new to the board but someone recommended that I seek help here. I am going to Orlando June 9-12th to attend a hairshow and I am looking for a clean inexpensive hotel (under $80 a night preferably) that has a free shuttle to the convention center. Can anyone help me??Thanks

This may give you more flexibility - the I-Drive Trolley goes up and down International and will take you right to the Convention Center doorstep for $1. Find a hotel in your price range as close as possible on International Dr and your ride is covered. http://www.iridetrolley.com/

You can buy a multi-day I-Ride trolley pass for something like $7 for 5 days for unlimited usage. We were there for a conference last year, and several people in our party got them. They were very useful.

I would also go to www.go2orlando.com and sign up for the free Orlando Magicard. It has lots of excellent offers for hotels (some of them are substantial discounts). The offers are probably listed on the site (if not, they'll mail you a booklet with all of the offers when they send you the card).

I've stayed at the Marriot Courtyard on I drive several times, and the room rates are very good. The I-Trolly is great transportation to the convention center, and just about anywhere else on I-Drive!

Hi, I just want to thank everyone for their quick replies, I hope I made the right choice. As soon as the hair show tickets went on sale all the hotel prices started to go up so I was going blind looking at all the websites and reviews. I would find a hotel and check out the review on tripadvisor it would have a bunch of bad reviews, anyways, I ended up booking the Quality Inn International(through the itrolley website) for $66 a night(and I will be splitting that with another person) It doesn't include a free breakfast but there is a restaurant (of course thats was the bad reviews) But we can always bring some stuff to tide us over for the morning, the classes start at 8:00 anyways. THANKS SO MUCH and have a great day! Ellen
