Going to convention at Caribe but do not want to stay there as its a bit pricy for us

Not sure what the convention rate is but every Wed they have an online deal at the Carib website.

Buena Vista Suites is next door (connecting) and same owner. Suites are very similar in both. Breakfast is included at BVS. They have one day sales on Thursdays and often you find special deals via Mousesavers.

Down the road is also the Calypso Cay resorts where you can get deals at Country Inn and Suites (breakfast included). Not upscale but value. Also with it is a Hampton Inn (breakfast included). These are "south" of the Caribe so you would not be going towards traffic by Disney.
