I am sure this has been covered, but I am unable to find it. Would this make it not necessary to rent a car? We just got back from WDW and didn't need a car there so I was hoping the same thing if we go to Disneyland.

Hi Marlene,

Are you planning on just visiting the Disneyland Resort? If so, then you wouldn't need to rent a car. You can walk from several hotels to both theme parks (check the threads stuck at the top - they have maps).

Another thing you can do - they have some rental agencies in the area - if you plan on going someplace else, you can rent a car for a day or two.

Thanks so much! We are planning to do just the park area! Though that could change. As of right now we don't have any firm plans on when we are going etc. We live in Alaska and figure Disneyland is closer than Disneyworld:) Plus, we want it to be a break from winter. I just started doing my research to see what there is around the area as well.

I have gotten some great info on here already!!
