Hotels in Kissimmee

Can anyone tell me about the Magic Castle Inn & Suites, 5055 W. Hwy 192 in Kissimmee? This was recommended to us as a nice, economical place to stay. We are coming to WDW the week of Thanksgiving.

It's got a very good location, and is one of the better "budget" hotels. If you aren't expecting the Hyatt, this hotel will be fine. I prefer it over any of the Days Inns that are nearby.

I fully concur with both replies so far. A very decent little place for the money. Nothing fancy, but clean, well run and with quite a few facilities for a standard motel-type property.

First off........ a BIG welcome to the DIS!

We stayed at the Magic Castle during the US Thanksgiving in 2000 and found it to be a very clean, no frills style of place....and really good rates too! The staff were excellent and the deluxe continental breakfast (no charge for that) was really nice and had a large variety as usually a continental brekkie consists of rolls,donuts coffee and tea.If you have kids with you that's a real bonus as you'll save a bundle with not having to pay for breakfast at a restaurant.The only downfall with this hotel is that the pool is not heated although with us we didn't even think about using the pool as we were too busy at the parks. It's a great place to rest your head after a busy day.
