Hotels for 5 with reliable shuttle to Disney

I agree that Caribe is great! The shuttle is included and is pretty substantial (we have a car so generally don't use the shuttle). We love the 2 bedroom villa (suite), we only have 4 of us but our girls are teens now and do NOT share a bed, also we love having 2 bathrooms for the 4 of us to get ready in, I love the jacuzzi tub in the master , and we love having the full kitchen, though we mostly just end up using for reheating leftover pizza, etc for a late night snack when there (love the closeness to Pizzeria Uno across from DTD). Caribe is usually between $150-300 per night for the 2 bedroom, less for the 1 bedroom of course.

One bedroom at OKW sleeps five. King size bed (for 2), queen sleeper sofa (for 2) and sleeper chair (for 1). I believe it is one of the few (if not the only) one bedroom DVC that does sleep five.

I have an AP so at the moment a 35-37% discount directly through Disney is cheaper than renting points through most people (who usually want $12-14 per point). If Disney mirrors the same discounts they are currently offering then I'll book through Disney. If not I'll try to rent points. If the price is the same or close I'd rather book through Disney so I can have daily housekeeping and also have the flexibility to cancel or change dates if necessary. With Disney I also don't have to pay in full until close to the arrival date where renting points usually requires full payment upfront.

I'd still rather go with more space - but I guess older teens sleep wherever they are LOL. I'm in my late 40's so am more spoiled.

Good luck - plus am jealous! Had AP's a couple of times - may again soon! Loved my 3 trips in a year days.
