Hi there,
Did I read correctly that there is a good thread that explains DVC and II somewhere? We are looking to arrange our first exchange for 09 and want to know if it's worth it. I am wondering how DVC deposits a week into II. Do we get a "good" week or our own week if we already reserved some time? I have always heard from every TS CO that II exchanges are never that great but we'd like to spend a week in the Desert (prob Westin Mission Hills) next year.
If not through II, we'd like to use our points for resorts (prob in CA for short 2-3 day get aways). Are there points listed for these hotels someplace? Do the point values change each year (get devalued)? Just wondering.
We've been in a fog of bliss travelling happily to AKV so far so we have never looked past it to try different places. Now we have the itch to travel elsewhere (without kids). Any help would be appreciated.
