Hotels Along I-95 at Daytona Beach

Good morning everyone and Happy Memorial Day! Has anyone stayed recently at any of the hotels along I-95 at Daytona Beach? We are driving down from SC and need to be at Disney for a Father's Day breakfast with Mickey at 10:40 the next morning so we didn't want to have far to drive. I have a bad back so it's going to be pushing it just to get to Daytona. Any suggestions or comments would be grately appreciated! Hope everyone has a great day and thanks!

The Sun Viking Lodge is a nice resort. Before we moved down from NY we stayed there. Family owned, very clean, nice pool, nice rooms and right on the beach. Not right off I95 but not a far drive from it.

There is also a Hampton Inn off I95 in Ormond Beach that looks nice, havent stayed there though, but its right off the exit.

We are spending 5 days at Perry's Ocean Edge Resort. My in-laws have been staying there twice a year for the last 35+ years. We used to stay there all the time when we used to do four days at the beach and five days at Disney when the kids were little. It is a "family oriented" hotel.

I took a picture of this place last week while we were there. I really want to stay there the next time we go down. The little ocean front cottages look so cute and quiet.

We have never stayed at the cottages and thought of doing so this year. But we got a special rate on a "Spa Suite" for our 25th wedding anniversary and we took that. I love the idea of being able to lay in my jacuzzi tub overlooking the ocean.
