Anyone know of a good hotel or condo near Sea World? We aren't going to WDW next time and it seems like all the adds say Near WDW We are going to SW andWet n Wild and maybe the beach.

There is a Sheraton about 2 blocks away from SW, never been there though.

About one block away from that hotel, there are the Hawthorne Suites...which I highly recommend...free buffet breakfasts and a very nice place to stay.

We stayed at the Rennesance Orlando Resort - directly accross the street from the entrance to SeaWorld. We even just walked over one day - you have to cross a small (not busy) street to enter the SW parking lot and then walk through the lot to get to the entrance. Not bad at all.

Hotel is very nice (I would compare it to a deluxe at Disney - or maybe just a tad bit below that). We had a SeaWorld View but if I had to do it over again, I'd get the Atrium View - the view of SeaWorld was unimpressive. The Atrium View over looks the lobby and greenery - it looked nice. The hotel has a couple of sit down restaurants. I think our rate came with breakfast which was nice.

Hotel also has (or had) a shuttle to Discovery Cove if you decide to do that.

If you can afford it, stay at the Renaissance Resort. They usually lower rates for busy holidays like July 4th. Why? Because they're a business hotel, and the place is empty on busy holidays.

Next is the Sheraton World Resort. Go here, type in Orlando, then look for World because the link is so long after the search.

I'd say the Sheraton is a little bit farther away than the Hilton, but not by much. It's about a 10 minute walk with kids, I'm sure they can do it.

Thanks for the info but the more we think of it the more we only want a condo not a hotel. We like the fact that we have a seperate bedroom from the kids and a washer dryer ect. and the one we stayed at last time was less expensive than most hotels. (about $84 a night) So if anyone has condo suggestions that is all we'd need now. Chances are we will end up with the same company as last time (alexander holiday homes) and just drive a little more to SW and WnW.

We are staying at Cypress Harbour when we visit SW in June. We havent been before but I read some great reviews on here and on tripadvisor. It is about 2 miles from SW I think.

ETA: Check out hotelkingdom.com. We had a great deal last year on a 2 bedroom at Cypress Pointe Grandvillas. We would be there again but my DM had a bad reaction to something there. She had horrible hives and a rash. She isn't allergic to anything usually. No one else had any problems. I have horrible allergies but it didn't affect me. CPGV is 3.44 miles from SW per mapquest.
