Review hotel within walking distance to DD

Any recommendations for a hotel withing walking distance to Downtown Disney? We are taking the Disney Cruise and just spending one night after the cruise at Disney. I want to spend the night and be able to walk there.

Royal Plaza is pretty close to DTD- I think this may suit your needs for a 1 night stay...

We just got back from a 4 night stay at Buena Vista Palace. Highly recommend it. It's right across from DTD.

We are staying at Buena Vista Palace for 1 night since I decided to drive down a day early and not go into the parks after at 16 hour drive. I was wondering how the pool is? We will be there for the night of 4th of July only then off to DBV for M-F stay. Any advice with a DD 3 and DS 6 would be great for the day/night we are there. We aren't as of now going in to the parks that day but we do have APs so we may. My hope was a relaxing day at the resort.
