Hotel with a good pool

Since we will be visiting DL in July we will be swimming during the day and probably a quick swim at night before bed. Distance really isn't an issue as my kids are a pre teens but I am a bit picky when it comes to cleanliness of rooms. Can anyone recommend a hotel with a nice pool area? Some of the places I've seen pictures of have nice rooms but the pools look tiny or just blah. Also, other than the Disney hotels, are there any pools that would have a slide?

From what I have learned here..this is the answer I believe you will get

There are no hotels with a slide outside of resort hotels.
I think most will recommend the HOJO, a bit of a further walk, but nice pools, and generally clean rooms???

Am I right everybody?

I agree HOJO it is! I have 3 kids and the pool's where just great no slides but there was a large pool for adults and older kids and also they have a small pool just for the little ones. The walking distance really is not that far from the gates either.
