So I am going in June with my 3 year old and my cousin, his wife and their 4 year old for the 4 year old's first trip to Disneyland. I have been lots of times (I have a Magic Key and actually bought my 3 year old one yesterday) so am familiar with the area and picking rooms for trips with my daughter and I or by myself or with my daughter and my sister and I but am not as familiar with what is available for 3 adults and 2 kids from 2 different families. We have not decided if we are just going to do 2 rooms (that part I have options under control) or try to put the 5 of us in one room. I need help with options of the 5 of us in one room. I have found a number of places that have 2 queen beds and a bunk bed but want to see if there are any others I am missing or other room suggestions from you wise people.

So far I have Park Vue Inn, Courtyard Theme Park Entrance and SpringHill Suites that have 2 queens and bunk bed options. I have stayed at Park Vue before but not in this type of room and the other two I have not stayed at. I know the Residence Inn Convention Center also has rooms like this too but they are not available for our dates. What other hotels should I be looking at for all of us in one room? Walking distance of 10-15 mins max is a must because folding up 2 strollers to put them on a bus is not my jam. We will probably use the pool so fun toddler pool is a plus but they will be happy with any pool.

I am also going to propose the idea of staying at Paradise Pier and having the two toddlers sleep head to food in the day bed or if need be my daughter can share the queen bed with me since this is the 4 year old's first trip and both toddlers are early risers so EE will be utilized and despite the opinion of many I actually like staying at Paradise Pier (I love the other 2 also) especially right now where you get to use the Disneyland Hotel pool and the new DCA entrance is great. Thanks in advance!

The HoJo has rooms with bunk beds as well, and is walkable (with a fun little waterpark for the kids). We recently stayed at the Springhill suites in one of the bunk bed rooms which worked well (it's nice to have the extra space) - one thing to consider is that if you're all in one room you generally are only going to have one bathroom.

Anaheim Islander Inn has such a room. I've stayed there a few times and never had any issues. You can walk over to the Toy Story Parking lot and catch a ride to the parks. Also parking is free at the hotel.

The Courtyard's 2 queen and bunkbed rooms all come with 2 showers. The glassed in shower and toilet are separated from portion with the vanity, two sinks, and the other curtain lined shower by a door with a lock.

That would be great! We love the HoJo and I have stayed there with my daughter in a one queen bunk bed room but have never seen a room with 2 queens and a bunk bed available. I will check that out!

We will have 2 strollers so anything that involves a bus/ride is out because we are not willing to unpack and fold up the strollers to get on a bus. Thanks though I will keep this in mind for when we no longer have strollers! I have a 1 year old too who is staying home on this trip so I will be in stroller-ville for quite a while..

If you aren't completely set on bunk beds, the Desert Inn has a lot of different room types with several beds configurations. And the plus here would be that some have 2 bathrooms, which might be helpful with 3 adults.

Thanks! Bunk beds are a plus for the novelty factor with the kids but not at all a requirement as long as there are enough sleeping surfaces for all of us.

Hmm...Hojo has bunk beds but I haven't heard of a 2 queen with bunk bed configuration. There is the room type you mentioned staying in and then the kids' suite, but that is a two room suite with bunk bed in one room and king bed in the other. If you like Hojo, you might just do best to get connecting 2 queen rooms there. Then you have the benefit of 2 bathrooms. The kids water play area would probably be fun for the little ones too.
