Hotel where smoking is allowed?

My inlaws decided at the last minute to join us for a couple of days on our trip this June. However, they must have a smoking room. Can anyone tell me of a relatively inexpensive, yet close to Disney hotel that allows smoking in the rooms?

It depends on how much they want to spend. The Golden Link on 192East at the corner of 535 has smoking rooms and is about $40. This is a clean inexpensive motel which was renovated after the hurricane. It is family owned and very safe. The new Homewood Suites on Palm Parkway also has smoking rooms at about $119 per suite. They often have good specials.

My parents smoke and we are staying at SeraLago which is on 192 also known as Irlo Bronson.

We were just able to convince them to use the outdoor smoking areas so they could stay with us.

I smoke and didn't find it to bad staying on site. I would go get my coffee in the morning and go to the smoking section. When coming back I would stop in the smoking section before I went up to my room. I also met a lot of nice people there.

This is good news. Much healthier for everyone over smoking indoors.

Just in case though, Caribe Royale has one floor of smoking rooms as well.

wow... didn't think there were any resorts/hotels/motels that allowed smoking anymore. I do not smoke, but my DH does. We have only been in resorts that do not allow it... and that is fine with me.. DH is ok with it since when staying in a smoking room years ago, I didn't let him smoke in the room with me & the kids.

I was surprised too. I happened to ask if there were DSA's at the hotel ( we were booked in a non smoking room) and they asked if we wanted a smoking room. I don't think I really like the idea anymore of being in a smoking room--we don't even smoke in our house and never have so it's not really a big deal. But it is nice to know that for people who really prefer it--there are still some out there.
