Hotel/ticket question

Hi there. So I have a room only booked but recently had an offer from a friend to buy points for dvc. I was wondering what happens with the deposit I have down. Is there a way they can credit it towards the tickets I have to get?

The deposit should be returned to your credit card, as long as you aren't in a nonrefundable window.

If it's room only and you're more than 5 days out, then you'll get a refund to whatever your original payment method was. I could be wrong, but I don't think there would be a way to transfer those funds to a ticket. Or if there is, it probably involves a series of long and convoluted phone calls with about a million transfers to get to the right person and it's just not worth that hassle.

I noticed a change w/ USO resort to a 6 day cancel policy instead of 5 day …
Always read the Cancel policy!
