Hotel Royal Plaza in DTD??????

I just booked this property for one night (Oct 12). DH and I are just planning a little getaway (leaving DS with my mom).

Our plan is to drive up from South FL early that morning and go to Epcot for the day(stay as late as we want). We will drive home Sunday.

Some questions:

1. Can ( and should) we pre-check-in that morning before going to Epcot to avoid long lines late in the day?

2. How are the restaurants for breakfast? I am leaning towards getting room service right now.

3. We booked a standard room with a discount from mousesavers- All Stars and mods were all booked (with the codes)! What are the standard rooms like? Should we make any special requests????

We will probably just use our car for transportation.
Any other info appreciated!!!!!

My Hubby and I stayed here in July with the Mousavers discount. We called the hotel and upgraded to a king bed for $10.00 more per night. The room was very pretty and roomy. I loved the bathroom as it has a huge tub (room for 2 ) and a seperate shower.They also use Bath & Body products which I love. We ate at the restaurant once and found it to be reasonable. We arrived at 10:00a.m. and were able to get in our room. I think you will be very happy with the accomodations
