Thinking of maybe staying at HRP and was wondering how the bus service is. We don't like having to drive while on vacation and were wondering if the bus service is really slow or what. Stayed at Coronado Springs last year, used WDW buses and found them to be great. How does this transportation compare?

BUMP

I'd like to find out this information as well.

Great Question Steamboat Girlie, as one is not always able to afford staying in WDW Resort.

The buses run on a schedule with pickups on the hour and 1/2 hour for the theme parks. During the middle of the day, the AK bus runs once an hour. Depending on the time of year, there will be a morning and an afternoon run to the water parks. (When we were there in August there were 2 am runs). The buses leave the parks at 15 minutes to and after the hour. We did wait a while for a bus after our enight at the MK, but other than that the buses ran as expected. And the enight bus came when the driver said it would.

The HRP is usually the 3rd stop after the Hilton and Courtyard. When the bus filled up early am, it looked as if they dispatched another. Coming home at park closing, I did stand in the aisles a few times (not different from Disney buses).
