hotel/ride extension

Do any of you feel any disney hotels are extensions of the rides/lands. I love it because when I stay at POR I feel like I'm at an extension of Splash Mountain.Anyone else feel this way?

Yes, the Contemporary feels like an extension of Tomorrowland for me. I can even see the Contemporary from the Tomorrowland Transit Authority and the Astro Orbiter, and it makes it feel as if you're staying right inside Tomorrowland. The Polynesian also feels similar to Adventureland to me, and the Grand Floridian feels like an extension of Main Street.
