Hotel Recommedations at SNA Airport

What hotel do you recommend for an early flight out of John Wayne Airport. I would like to have return the rental car before we check in.

Is there something at the airport itself? Or something really close by that we could use their shuttle bus?

I saw on Expedia there was a Hilton and an Atruim hotel across from the airport, but boy are these expensive.

Anybody else? We are flying our of SNA on Monday morning at 6:00. So we would like to drop off the rental car the night before and just use a hotel shuttle back to the airport.

Any help would be appreciated.

We're staying at a Radisson, booked through my travel agent. I'll see if I can get her to e-mail me the specific info in the morning, but I know its like 1/2 a mile from SNA with a free shuttle.

We're at the Radisson Hotel Newport Beach 949-833-0570. They are supposed to be right near the airport with a free shuttle.
