Hi all
Just another question..
Seem to be getting different answers when I actually call sea world and the hotel

On seaworlds page, it says book a vacation package, if you book with a partner hotel it said
you get

1. Free transportation to and from the park
2. Quick que access
3. discounts etc.. blah blah

So the way I read it was
you get transportation to and from
you get free "fast pass access'
and the 3 discounts is what ever special they are offering at the time
like now its the free food for the day..

when I called up the Rennassance hotel across the street (I was thinking of moving us to the 2 bedroom suite and not getting a package deal
I asked them do any resort guest gain "fast pass access for free" if we bought sea world tickets at the gate.

they said yes

I called Sea world and they said no..

huh?
I even asked sea world if I book the current package with the free dine program and stay at a partner hotel do I get the fast pass access
they said no..

Anyone stay at any of the partner hotels know this answer?

Little info.. Its 6 in the morning, I was up till 2 am, Puppys got me up early, I might be rambling.. a little...

I'm planning on booking this same package for March 4-6.I called and talked to customer service and asked about the front of line and she said you get a wrist band at the hotel for that.We are staying at Springhill suites. The # is 1-800-55-shamu.

We are going in June and we are staying at the Renaissance. I did not purchase a package but it says those are benefits of staying at the hotel on the hotel's website. I also saw the same thing on SeaWorld's website. I do think PP is correct as I was told you would get the access pass from the Hotel at check in. Apparently this benefit starts March 1st.

Im going to watch for their package deals,
But I think getting a room only (maybe a AAA or somekind of discount)

Walking across the street and using my Southwest Rapid Rewards 20% off
I might be able to get a better deal that way

And I read it as long as your staying at the hotel you get the free quick que access..

I am thinking along these lines, also. After March 1,I hope someone can confirm that all guests of the official SW hotels get the quick que access without having to get the package deal through SW.
I wonder about the free all day dining at SW. I don't know if that's just for folks who buy the package...

I did a package vs separate bookings rate comparison for our family of two adults, one child over 9 and one child 3-9:

Marriott Renaissance with AAA discount on a Friday and Saturday night: $151 for friday and $215 for Saturday= $366 + tax

Admission to SeaWorld with at the gate 20% Southwest Air discount: $79.99 X 3 - 20% plus $71.99 - 20% = total $249.60 + tax

All day dining plan for 3 adult rate (19.99) and 1 child (14.00) = $104.96

Quick Queue ranges from 19.99 to 34.99 depending on date. Let's say it's 19.99 per person (which I doubt b/c it's a weekend) = $80 + tax

Total is (at minimum) $815 + all the crazy taxes they like to hit vacationers with, rough total $900+.
v.s.
Booked online as a package on SeaWorld's site: Total = $669, tax included. Plus I didn't figure in the special "SeaWorld Rescue Tour", early entry into the park, and complimentary transportation.

For us, booking the whole thing as a package was indeed, and surpisingly, the best deal.

To the OP: If you book separately, I would think the "Exclusive Benefits for our On-Site Hotel" should still apply, including the transport, quick queue, early entry, and rescue tour. The disclaimer says "Quick Queue Unlimited and SeaWorld Rescue Tour can be booked only upon arrival at the Expedia Local Exper Guest Services Desk at our official hotels." Maybe try calling the hotel back and ask for this special expedia desk? I plan to head straight to it when we check in since they add that quick queue is on a limited, first come, first served basis.

On a similar note, the first SeaWorld Rescue Tour appears to be March 28th. I hope someone posts a review! We are going April 2nd for the early entry and Rescue Tour. Will let everyone know what we find out!
