Hotel pricing up and down? Or just up?

Hello! I'm attempting to book my family's first trip to DLP. I noticed this last week, as I've been pricing, checking, my dates went up by quite a lot. Will prices fluctuate up and down? My dates aren't until early June. Or historically, do the prices only increase the closer the dates get? Do you think there is any hope of discount packages being released within the next few months? Thank you! I haven't followed DLP rates. I feel like a fish out of water!

Discounts have been rare since Covid. So don't put your hopes up too high, and yes prices can increase.

Which website are you looking at, if it's the US DLP website, you will always get the highest prices. Try to switch to a European country in the top right corner.
Other option, look at your options if you book your hotel via booking.com/trivago.com/hotels.com etc. and tickets separately. It's usually about the same, but it sometimes can get you a better price.
