hotel prices

Does anyone else feel that the prices for the hotels offsite are a little high. I usually get a room for around $70 or less and have been pricing them for my August trip and are coming back around $100. do you think the prices will drop in the next month. Still waiting for southwest to publish their rates so I really can't book yet but I am getting discouraged.

Overall hotels are up, related to the fact that travel is up...


However, I would watch for specials etc. I was looking for late March and was finding the same thing, but last week I got a Travelzoo email giving me the Marriott Courtyard Lake Buena Vista for $59 a night...so keep watching.

they are definitely higher....sometimes Disney can beat offsite - the value resorts....

that to me is very strange!
