We just need a hotel for 2 nights before we go to rental in Ft. Myers. We have tix to the Coke 400 and are looking for a hotel in Orlando on I-4 but not necessary near wdw. Looking for a cheap, nice place.

More details please. How cheap?

I am presuming someplace between Orlando & Daytona Beach like somewhere in Seminole County (Altamonte Springs, Longwood, Sanford)?

I think you can find the cheapest prices with some pretty good hotels in tourist areas like International Drive.

Sorry, i forgot to subscribe to my own post. Yep, still here looking. Would like a decent place for about $60-70 a night. Just someplace safe and clean since we'll just be using it to sleep before going to the daytona race.

Get away from WDW, Lake Buena Vista and I-Drive. If you head NE on I-4, you will be closer to Daytona Beach. A good possibility near I-4 and within $60-70 a night would be:
.
La Quinta Inn & Suites
Orlando Lake Mary
1060 Greenwood Blvd
Lake Mary, FL 32746
Phone: 1-407-805-9901

Good luck!

The Hilton Altamonte Springs is just outside Orlando and works GREAT for Daytona races. Bid on Priceline for a 3* in the Maitland / Altamonte zone and you can typically get it for about $60/nt.
