Hotel Newbie w/Dumb Questions..FRIDGE SWAP??

Been to WDW 5 times since Oct 2008, have stayed in our camper at Fort Wilderness every time with the exception of a one night stay at All Star Sports in March. Staying at POP in Sept (yay!!), preferred room.
*How do you "request" a specific section? I know how to do this @ the Fort but unclear how to do this @ POP.
*What are the best sections at POP?
*How do the fridge swaps work and can anyone tell me if they have availability 9/17 thru 9/24?
*Does POP have anything special to do for birthdays? Can you have something delivered to the room?

Since you have a preffered room you will be near Classic Hall. Ends of 70' and 50's and most of 60's.

You can check out the resort board and find the map of Pop there. Then request a certain section if you want.

Sorry the fridge swap I'm running is full for your dates.

If you mention the birthday on the reservation, when you check in the CM will give the birthday boy/girl a button.
