Hotel near maingate

I’m looking for a decent and very reasonable place to stay near the main gate for the night before our check in to Pop. Nothing fancy. Just clean and fairly priced. Thanks!

We used to stay at doubletree in the Disney Village if we needed a joint before a stay. We've also stayed at the Best Western.

I've had good luck with Marriott and Hilton properties along Palm Parkway, which is very close to Disney Springs. As a matter of fact, just last night, I booked a studio room at Residence Inn for $59/night for end of September. No resort or parking fees. The 3 Marriott village hotels are nice, but they do charge $10/night for parking.

ETA: The $59 is the Senior rate, but their regular rates are very reasonable. This will be my first time staying there, but I've generally had good luck with Marriott properties.

This is a good recommendation. I've actually stayed at that RI before moving here permanently. And yes, the parking fee at the Marriott Village hotels is annoying.

We looked at the Doubletree Disney Springs and the Wyndham Grand at Bonnet Creek. The Wyndham was less than the Doubletree for our dates. There is also the B resort that is walking distance to DS. That one looked nice too and was nicely priced. At the time I think it was around 85.00 a night for a standard ( Sept ).
