Hotel Near LAX

Hi, Hope someone can help me I need to stay in hotel near LAX for 1 night due to issues with a trip I have I have to fly in the night before and then get back to LAX the next day for the tour I am taking. I need a clean hotel that is relativly safe and holds reservations for a late arrival my flight lands close to midnight. I don't mind having to pay for the room in advance. A hotel that has a shuttle is great but if they don't it isn't a big deal. Thanks
