Hotel near BUF airport?

From all the hotels that have been mentioned here i.e. Millenium, Fairfield Inn, Quality Inn, Sleep Inn, etc. are the parking lots located AT the hotel? I've been reading in some places that the "up to 14 days" lots are located a distance from the hotel. Is this correct? Are these lots safe? Security monitored? etc.

Sleep Inn parked us down the street in a parking lot when we were gone for 14 nights-less than that they seem to park some right at the airport parking lot and then they have a deal with the airport and can open the gates for you to get your car out- there was a couple on our shuttle home we dropped off at the airport parking lot then they took us to our lot -our parking lot was bad (after snow storm) very muddy lots of pot holes- huge snow bank to plow over to get out. The couple on our shuttle that we dropped off at the airport parking lot was told to warm up their car that our driver was taking us to our lot then he would come back to let them out the gate. Seemed to me he should have waited the 30 seconds for them to hop in their car and then they could have followed the shuttle out of parking lot. We seemed to have to go to that lot because we were gone so long. It was bad-won't do again- guess it would be fine if it had not snowed.:confused3

It's the Marriott Buffalo Airport on Millersport. I just tried not knowing your dates and got a base price of $144 - I booked last year on a govn't rate (sorry, forgot that) but I just put in a AAA rate (would accept CAA) and got $129. This hotel is lovely! To me it is worth a few extra bucks for a super comfy bed (white down bedding) which assures me a better sleep given our excitement!

I won this hotel on Priceline for $57. I believe it's called Buffalo Marriott Niagara. It's located in Amherst. It's the only 3.5 * in the area, therefore your sure to get it if bidding 3.5 * on Priceline.

I'm glad to hear it's a lovely hotel. I had started another thread asking if anyone stayed there and didn't get a response.

The hotel's website sells the same room for $179 for my dates. Gotta love Priceline!

We did Priceline a year or so back but when we got there we were told that Priceline Hotels never include 'park and fly' so we were not so thrilled! Parking cost us as much as the room had!

Priceline does not include Park and Fly. However, I'm prefer not to have park and fly, I don't like waiting for the shuttle to bring me back to my car. I figure that getting a hotel on Priceline and parking at the airport is about the same as Park and Fly but I have the convience of having car at the airport.

Yes, I can see that.
When we went though we were away for 2 weeks so the parking was pretty hefty. I've never had more than a 5-7 min wait for the shuttle so it hasn't been an issue. I appreciate than might not always be the case though.:confused3

Can anyone tell me which stopover hotels near BUF offer complimentary breakfast starting at 4:30 or 5:am?

I know Comfort Suites does but would like to look at other options as well. We will have a long flight to Cancun (including one stopover) so really would like to have the option to eat a large complimentary breakfast prior to our flight.

Thank you

On a similiar note to the above poster...if anyone has stayed at the Millennium when does breakfast start there?

We've got a 7:25am flight...it'd be nice to get something to eat before leaving the hotel but I'm not too hopeful on that one.

We did the Travelzoo $99 park and fly package at the Millenium a few weeks ago and had a flight for 6:30am. The hot breakfast starts at 6:30am; but we got a continental bag for leaving early. It consisted of an apple, yogurt, orange juice and prepackaged Sara Lee danish. Had the juice and yogurt right away while waiting for the shuttle and pack the rest for the plane.

Best Western and Sleep Inn both have breakfasts starting at 4 - 4:30 am.

Yes, Best Western does have early breakfasts and I believe they have 24 hours coffee too. Also, the car will be parked at the hotel and I believe for Sleep Inn it is parked off-site.
