Well, I think ukstitch meant that you cross OVER the freeway. You do have to walk across the freeway exit. Sometimes cars can be in a big hurry there, if you know what I mean. It's just a long walk, IMHO, but we did do the walk more than once (as we stayed there last April with a really good Expedia rate, too - I think it was $64+tax). I agree, the menu at Kya (spelling?) was very good. DD & I had seafood and like I said the bar by the pool made excellent cocktails.

I checked out the Kya menu online and it looks really really good. My kind of food.

nvwifenmom....WOW, You got a great rate! I hope that You have a really great time on your trip. We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Menage.

ART pulls right up to the entrance of the hotel and You can hop on and be at Disneyland in just a few minutes. It's 4 dollars a day and like i said only makes 1 other stop than the Menage hotel.

We had our three grandchildren {ages 6 and twin 4 year olds} with us when we stayed here and always used ART with no problem.

It is really nice having the ART shuttle at Hotel Menage because the next stop after is Disneyland! If you buy a multi-day pass for the ART at the front desk, you save a lot of money! We found that out the last day we were there
