How late in general are the lounges and bars in the WDW hotels open? Looking for some nice options to Pleasure Island for adults in the evenings.

Also - Any suggestions on good specialty drinks to try and the best hotels to visit with nice bars? I saw some good looking drinks on the pictures of beverages thread but thought I would see if there were any other good suggestions. We are staying at ASMu so we will have to rely on the bus system no matter what we do.

Thanks!!

At Port Orleans French Quarter they have Scat Cat's. I believe Wed-Sun they have an entertainer from 8pm until midnight. We love it when Eliot Dyson performs. He's great.

Port Orleans Riverside also has entertainment but its more geared to children with their families.

I'd love to know which hotels have entertainment in their lounge. I'd much prefer a quiet night in after a hot day at the parks.

I liked the lounge at Coronado Springs. Especially loved the endless chips & salsa. :)

I enjoyed their Green Lantern drink. Or something like that. Can't remember what was in it, but it was yummy! I wish this site listed their drink menu. :)

My favorites are The Crewscup at the Yachtsmen Steakhouse. Great food and drinks. I believe they are open until 11 weekdays and 11:30 weekends.

Outter Rim at the Contemporary is great. Plenty of TVs, wide screen in back room, limited food menu, great drinks. Open until 11:30.

Kimonos at the Swan. They surve sushi and some other stuff. They ahve Kareoke, I know they are open later than most but I'm kind of unsure of all the times of the lounges. Most everywhere is closed by midnight.
ESPN is one of the only ones that stay open later and serve food the latest.

We enjoy drinking around the monorail and visiting the Tambu Lounge at the Poly, Mizner's lounge at Grand Floridian, and Outer Rim Lounge at CR.

At Tambu we like Lapu Lapu, Trade Winds, Ohana Colada.....(all those tropical drinks are great there)

At Mizner's I enjoyed the Mizner's Sidecar.

My Favorite at Outer Rim is the Space Monkey.

Of course all these lounges have the multi paged menus with all the usual drinks, including some from PI Clubs.

The lounges are open a bit later on weekends, aren't they? I know for sure I've been at Mizner's and Outer Rim past midnight.

(by the way, the Outer Rim and Tambu Lounge have the added advantage of being the only lounges open around lunchtime: to compensate, I suppose, for the MK's teetotaling policies).

How about Raglan Road? Anyone know what time their entertainment goes until during the week? DH and I are getting in at 9:30 pm on a Thursday (without the kids!!) and hoping to hit a fun place--we're staying at Saratoga Springs, so DD is closest... oh, and do you need to pay an entrance into PI to go to Raglan, or just to get into the clubs? Thanks!! :goodvibes

Good friends of ours were at POR last year during March Madness. Dad is a true sports man but had done very well going to the parks every day and missign all of the games. One evening he just said to his wife I am goign to the lounge alone and watching some games and having a beer. He got to the lounge or whereever it was and someone was playing the piano and kids were singing disney songs. He came back to the room quickly and told he wife you just can't escape it. I guess you need to know this man to truely understand this sotry but it was funny to us.

I'm pretty sure they give last call at 11:30.
It's very irritating.
I think Kimonos and ESPN are the ones open the latest.
I couldn't find any info online about lounge hours.

There is no charge to get into PI or the restaurants there. You just need to pay if you are entering the clubs. :thumbsup2
