I was just on Hotel Kingdom and they have a "Crown Club" or I may be off a little on the name. ONe needs to join it and supposedly you will get better prices. I was just wondering if anyone has done this and if the prices are better they are saying that it pertains in part to luxury villas. I noticed that the prices on this site were not what they had been in the past and I am just wondering if this is a way for them to get more info and track their customers.

bumping to find out the answer to this question.

It brought up 1 property for our travel dates....it was a real joke.

:o I joined And nadda..................................I have used Hotelkingdom in the past and have had good luck with them!:D Crown club is a joke ........................................

Yes, before I read these replys I gave in and joined too. It is a joke but my only hope is that it is new and just beginning. Hopefully more hotels will jump on board. I guess I just question the purpose of having a "seperate" club. Maybe they are just compiling a mailing list. I WILL be contacting them with my feelings. Will let everyone know what they say.

I just received a reply to my e mail at Hotelkingdom re the Crown Travel Club. They said in essence it was to rent properties own by RCI and that RCI insisted they make it a club so that eveyone would not see the super low rates they were charging since the owners had paid thousands of dollars for their timeshares. They said that they had not booked very much at that club and were thinking that they would be discontinuing it. Also, they said that on other sites that have higher rates the rates on the Crown Club might be attractive but that they felt the rates on HK were so low the club was not worth it.
I was very happy that they took the time to explain and furthermore they said they were not trying to compile a mailing list to sell which had also been one of my questions.

All in all I was very happy with their prompt and informational reply. It is good to know that they do not ignore customers as so many other companies do.

:o Wow !!!! Thanks for the info!Hard to book rooms if they dont put them on there site............But once again thanks for the news ,It makes sense now!::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::
