Hotel in Tampa

Anyone have any recommendations for a hotel in Tampa Area. Helping a friend plan a trip and they are flying into Tampa first to see B. Gardens and a Ball Game.Driving to Disney 2 days later.

They have kids ranging from 3 to 7.

We just booked our hotel in Tampa for August..... what I learned while looking is you should avoid the hotels in the busch gardens area - apparently it's not a great part of town We ended up booking the Holiday Inn Tampa Express on North Rocky point Drive. We booked that one though b/c it had transfers from the airport to hotel then hotel to cruise port and wasn't too bad for price.
