Has anyone stayed at the Crowne Plaza Universal yet?? Just got a quote from Bon-Voyage for £49/night. Crowne Plaza hotels are usually pretty lush and this price just seems soo good.

Whilst I'm at it has anyone else stayed at the Radisson maingate in Anaheim or Milford Plaza,NY??

If you don't mind a slight gamble on your accommodation I just booked the Hilton towers in Aneheim on http://www.hotwire.com for $80 per night ($65 for the hotel +$15 taxes) , that was a 3.5 * hotel, there were 3 stars for less than $50 for the room ( I'd guess the taxes would still be about $15). You don't know the actual hotel until after you commit to the booking but I've found this is the best way to get a great deal on rooms all over the US. In over a dozen times using this service I've always got a great hotel at a bargain price.
They also have some cracking deals on hotels in Orlando and New York, you can specify the area, but you do get the hotel offering the best deal.

Am thinking of staying in the Crowne Plaza for my visit in November, they run shuttle to Universal and Disney and airnet are doing £44 per room per night on it.

Don't know if you are aware of this site but trip advisor has a good thread on the CP and is ranked 25 out of all the Orlando hotels on their site, here is the link:

Try epinions . I looked at them for my NY hotel this comiong Xmas and the comments made me change my mind on the one I was going to book. We are now staying at Roosevelt at 45th and Madison.
