I am taking my daughter in May on a girls only trip. She just turned 4. What Deluxe should we stay at. Right now I have a hold on an AKL Savannah view. but I have started thinking it is too far to MK to make sense with a 4 year old. Any opinions? I could stay at WL or CR in a garden room. I have been to the WL before and loved it but I have been there already, I am concerend that a CR Garden Room is inconvienient? I would love opinions - GF is just to expensive and the Poly only has lagoon view left - which is to high for me also.
Thanks in advance

How about the cabins at Ft. Wilderness campground? It is only a boat ride away from the MK and there are tons of things to do. The sing a long is fun and you can make smores and watch the movie. They have a hayride, playgrounds and you can watch the boat parade and fireworks from the beach. I bring our golf cart, but maybe rent one for a day. My three yo loves to ride through the loops looking at all the camping decorations and going to the petting zoo (her farm) and looking at the animals. The pool is not themed, but it is large and nice. My older kids take their scooters, but the 3 yo has a one seater golf cart of her own that she travels in. If you are driving, maybe you can take her bike?

My daughter was 3 1/2 when we went in January and she absolutely loved AKL savannah view. She woke up every morning and ran to the balcony to see the animals. We also had a room with bunk beds and she slept on top as this was her "magic carpet". The bus rides were wonderful we never waited more than 8 minutes, and we always had a seat for all of us. The pool and activities and the fire pit were great fro her. The interns from South Africa were very child friendly and infromative. I've stayed at both Poly and Contemporary and will be returning to AKL.

We took our 2 y/o and stayed at AKL Savannah room. She LOVED it!!! we stayed the 2nd floor, Zebra trail I think and asked for a room closer to the lobby to avoid super long walks (the hotels are huge). It was perfect, the view was awesome. Because we took a break during the day, we were able to catch the 3:00 feeding every after noon, it was very cool. Also b/c of our location we were close to the pool an to Mara, which was great for the refillable mugs.

I say you have chosen a great resort for a 4 year old

Another cheer for AKL! We took my children dd 4 and ds 2 to AKL in November and they loved it!! They loved the bunks, the animals, the pool - it was a Disney adventure in itself. I could go on and on about all the things we loved there. I think for a four year old AKL Savannah room is about as good as it could get!
