hotel help for Paris

looking to go to Paris for DH 50th Birthday this July as a surprize taking in the end of the Tour de France
which would be the best area to stay and any one any favourite hotel to share
as usual looking for cheap clean and cheerful
noticed that expedia are given free 1 day tickets to disneyland too so planning on booking with them

Oops, I've just seen same post on UKCB, sorry you didn't get an answer here ..... but better late than never!

I posted this thread here when I was enquiring where to stay in Paris - hope it helps.

I've ended up booking a hotel near the Trocadero in the end but I can't remember what it's called, I'll try and dig out the paperwork later.
