Hotel help for a first timer friends accomodation

My friend from work has asked for my help in planning a holiday for 2004.

There will be two adults and two children aged 9 and 12 at the time of the holiday. they would like to know if may or october would be better weather wise. They are looking for accomodation that has more than one room. ie. separate bedroom for the adults to give a bit of privacy for all, not necessary a villa. nothing fancy, but clean and safe.

As we do not have children i am asking for any advice, which will be gratefully received. they intend to have a car. thanks to you all. alison

IMHO - October. Especially, if they intend to be in Orlando around Halloween. Weather wise, there isn't a lot in it. May maybe slightly warmer, but I think October is ideal.
