Hi! My daughter and 2 of her friends are planning a trip to Disneyland for spring break. They are seniors in highschool (18). I'm looking into hotel options for them and will be double checking that 18 is the minimum age to check in. I'm looking at Candy Cane Inn and Castle Inn and Suites so far. Any other suggestions that are close walking distance and reasonably priced (and safe of course).

You need to be at least 21 for pretty much anywhere. They don't want a bunch of unaccompanied teens I guess. Just call them and ask. The Anaheim Hotel is lovely and has a huge heated pool, etc. It is very close to the parks (at Harbor and Disney Way). They might allow 18 years old to check in.

Just a quick check of hotel websites shows a lot of nearby hotels are 18 for minimum check in age including Candy Cane Inn. Many that had higher minimum check in ages in the past have updated policies.

I would make sure your daughter has a credit card in her name (add her as an authorized user to a credit card of yours) if she doesn't already have one.
