For DL Trip. In search for decent priced hotel/suite for a family of 7. I keep seeing mixed reviews on Trip Advisor and Expedia. Any suggestions?

What we did was we got two connecting rooms at pop century. For us the rooms are mainly for sleeping so as long as there is a bed for everyone to lay their head at night :earsgirl:.. We are happy. When we don't stay at pop century... We stay off site at regal palms in a big townhouse. The townhouse is nice when you are staying several more days then you will spend in the parks. Gives you more room to spread out. Regal palms has a terrific pool area! My kids could spend all day on the waterslide and lazy river. Hope you have a great trip! :smickey:

Thank you so much. :)

I used to live near DL so I don't have much experience with hotels nearby, but when the family went to DL a few years back, we stayed at Desert Palms. Short walk into the park - not much further than the walk from the tram in my opinion. We could see Cars Land and Tower of Terror from our room. It was affordable and decent quality - literally just a place to rest your head at night. I believe they have suites that sleep up to 8 now.

If you're going to Disneyland (in California,) you'll get better answers if you ask on the Disneyland forum.

If you're going to Disney World (in Florida,) I recommend forgetting about hotels and looking at houses. You can easily find 3 and 4 bedroom houses for around $100 per night. Take a look at homeaway.com or vrbo.com

We own a townhouse in Regal Palms ... happy to answer any questions you may have ( if in fact your going to DW)

We are a family of seven as well. We stayed at the Doubletree Suites last time and really liked it. It was a short walk to Disneyland every day, the hotel had two separate rooms and was very clean.
