OK, I've posted before to get ideas. Really never been to Disneyland but a Disney World veteran (just rode Expedition:Everest!). We're going to Disneyland early next January for our 25th wedding anniversary. I'd love to stay at a Disney resort but I don't think Paradise Pier is going to cut it and Disneyland Hotel seems what we want but it's the kid factor that's turning me off from that. I'd love to stay at the Grand Californian but unless we win the lottery between now and then, I can't see doing it (we're staying in San Diego on the beach before this for the husband's part of the trip and I'm making him happy there). So, offsite it is. I've "narrowed" down the choices to these four for various reasons. Mostly because they all have hot tubs/whirlpools and we love them and these have king size beds available (a must). Please make comments or alternative suggestions. I'm still a long way away from making reservations and I'm sure I'll change my mind a least a dozen times.
Anaheim Fairfield Inn
Best Western Park Place Inn
Park Inn & Suites
Tropicana Inn & Suites
Other things - we don't mind walking, in fact we prefer that to taking a shuttle; a sit out balcony would be great but I don't think that's going to happen from reading another thread; price is a consideration but I'm going with $100-$125 or a little nudge higher than that.
And I thought Disney World was complicated!
