Hotel Discount Codes

That was one of the ones I booked. The last 4 nights of our holiday in a premium room/park view. :cool1: The other was 11 nights at Stanford Inn. Can't wait! I considered the Disneyland Hotel too, but it was so awful last time we stayed there and the "improved" rooms look dark and dreary that I decided that the upgrade at PP was better value (and cheaper!).

:thumbsup2

We've just booked the Holiday Inn Resort LBV for $US84 per night + $12 resort fee & taxes via the preferred hotel link on the mouse savers website.

No deposit required and we can cancel with no fees up until very close to our trip if we spot a better deal.

Plus we have Priority Club so we will get points and a free breakfast with this particular deal.

The Holiday Inn has a free shuttle to Universal, WDW, Downtown Disney and the outlets, so we hope it will also save us on renting a car and parking at the parks.

Has anyone else stayed there? The pics looked ok and most of the Holiday Inns we have used have been ok.

Webjet sent me this email with some great discounts for hotels booked through hotels.webjet.com.au

Thanks for the link Pumpkin. Although at 3 weeks out from my trip, I should STOP looking for deals and accept the good discount I already got!

Orbitz is great! and this week i had 50% of a GF room, BUT I swapped the booking to Travel Pony as they were able to give me the exact room type I want with a 42% discount. So some great discounts available at the moment.

Sugarglider, have you used Travelpony before? I can't find any 'real' reviews. Contemplating taking the plunge when a good deal pops up again.

I found several threads on TripAdvisor discussing Travel Pony and there were a lot of suspicious people saying "i'm not touching them". there were also plenty of people who said it went fine.

After booking I contacted them by Facebook and asked for my Disney reservation number - which they supplied. I whacked it into MDE and it is there! I just went and checked again, and the room price has gone up by $80/night

However, none of my other desired hotels in NY and Washington DC are discounted - still the same price at the hotel is selling.

Another deals I found was 50% off the Orlando Marriott World Centre; and 60% off DFW Hyatt Regency.

The discounted rooms seem limited in number, pricing seems to change with every few days / or perhaps with every booking - or be flexible where you want to stay to get the cheapest price.

re: Travel Pony - there is a pattern I am observing - some of the hotels that start off REALLY cheap slowly creep up in price. So a hotel I saw for $83/night has now become $107. One for $99/night is now $139.
I don't know if it is a case of either:
  • they have x number of rooms at super discount and those sell, and then they have yy number of rooms at marginal discount
  • OR
  • they know it is me logging in (you have to be logged in to see the prices) and they are slowly raising prices to pressure the purchase

Overnight two more hotels were exactly the same price on the hotel website, Orbitz (not promo code eligible), travel pony, trip advisor's multi agent tool (expedia/travelocity/hotel.com etc) and from a travel agent. So no bonus from any discount sale for some properties!:sad2:

Thanks for your thoughts Sugarglider. :)
I too have noticed how the ones that I was keen on have jumped in price. If I find a bargain I think that I will give it a go. Very limited places/hotels at the moment but it may grow steadily.

I know this thread is a little old but thought we could add more recent ones for those looking to book:)
Hotel. Com have 10% off with code hc3sh88k
