hotel discount codes and a couple questions.

I was wondering what are some of the discount codes for the universal resorts. I have seen it mentioned to try all the codes to see what the cheapest rates are. I'd love to stay onsite, but would like to save as much money as possible. The new Drury inn and Suites is cheap at $114 with AAA. I have found the RP for $179 with AP, but we are only going to be in parks for 2 days and probably wont be back for several years so I don't know if its worth purchasing. I also checked the FLO rate but I'm not a FL resident... Do they enforce that? The FLO rate is the same as the APH rate.
Is staying onsite that important if the crowds are low?

I was planning to go in December, but we can save about $300 in airfare to go in Sept, so I'm trying to move trip sooner, so my planning getting rushed. We are flexible.

september has lower rates than in december.
you might want to check that out.

the present promo is valid for september also.


my ap rate for early october is $144/night.
those ap rates are different for the seasons.

i would imagine that anytime after labor day, the rates will not be high for the onsite hotels as they are in december.

if you can switch your vacation dates around, it might work for you being able to stay onsite.

don't know where the drury inn suites are located.
have no idea on distance that place is to the parks.

i have read that to book with the Fl rate, you have to show proof at check in.

i live in illinois and have to show my id/DL when i check in the hotels.
