Hotel debit hold?

I know hotels typically charge a hold on your account when you check in, to cover incidentals, etc. Usually it's $50 a day. We don't have credit cards, only a debit card. We are opening a DVA and plan on using it to make payments on our Sept 2016 trip through Disney online once the prices post this summer. We'll have a dining plan and no charging access on our MBs and we're staying at DASSp. Is a card required at check in if we're already paid in full AND we don't want charging access? If one is required, is there a hold? I just want to make sure that I have enough available in our count to counteract anything that gets tied up due to holds. TIA.

No card is required. And I've never had a hold put on our debit card at a WDW resort.

As the pp said, WDW doesn't put a hold on your cards.
