Hotel close to TPA ?

Does anyone know of a hotel for a 1 night stay very close to TPA with a reasonable rate? We are arriving late, then will be leaving for WDW early in the morning.

Consider Days Inn - Rocky Point. Free courtesy shuttle to/from airport, basic lodging but they have an onsite restaurant/bar
serving all 3 meals and there's even a Landry's seafood walking right across the highway (be careful!). The rooms are big, though somewhat worn. Only about $69-ish for the room.

We went with the Airport Marriott. We are arriving late at night too and I did not want to bother with looking for an off-site hotel. We can just pick up our bags and check-in.

Our rate was $169 (expedia), but we are also saving a day on the rental car. Just didn't want any hassels after working/travelling all day to be driving around to find an off-site hotel. Although I did look into the Amerisuites Airport for about $90, included breakfast and airport shuttle.

If you're picking up a rental car when you get in, and aren't worried about a shuttle, I'd look into Priceline. See what's come up on biddingfortravel.com Usually airport hotels are inexpensive. A 2 1/2 star should be fine.

We are booked at the Doubletree Suites on Rocky Point Dr. the night before leaving for home. It is 2 miles from TPA and they have a shuttle if you need it. We got it for $79-- we looked into many others in the area and they were more $ and didn't look nearly as nice. If anyone out there has stayed at this place, I'd love to here about it!
