Sorry about bringing up the subject of Chocolate again Louise ;)

this is the link for the Tasting Club http://www.chocs.co.uk/

When you join membership is set up to send out boxes monthly but we changed that immediately so that we only get them every 3 months. You can choose any interval between selections. There is always 2 of each chocolate in each box which makes them perfect for sharing and we love scoring them and sending our cards back :thumbsup2

mmmmmmmmmm they look well nice x
The second I lose my stone im off to reward myself with a membership to tis place - ill let you know what I think next year :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Aunt subscribes to this... but they are not something I enjoy. Very heavy :eek:

My mum is a member (I get her this for Christmas every year), the chocolate is lovely (we loved hotel chocolat anyway). The boxes are huge though my mum struggles to get through them all!

My favourite subject after disney is hotel chocolat :lmao:

Both DH and I love it ... we order the monthly boxes - I eat all the nut ones and DH eats the others.

Ordered the christmas selection and just finished them - once you have tried them it does tend to put you off other makes of chocolate.

Their website does have some half price offers (obviously xmas stock) but gives you a chance to try and a reduced cost (or by double the amount :lmao:)

We only opened the Christmas selection a few days ago. The house was far too busy over Christmas and New Year and we don't like to share :rolleyes1

The lowest scoring ones for us so far are the white chocolate fruit ones. The filling is a little too 'zingy' for our taste. Do you have a favouite from that selection?

We also went to Meadowhall, Sheffield on Monday and spent a small fortune in the Hotel Chocolat shop as they had a sale on. Then when we got home that day the postman had been and delivered us our 3-monthly box from the Tasting Club :thumbsup2

At least if we get snowed in this week we won't starve :lmao:

My sister has been a member for a few years and loves trying out the experimental flavours. They are a little too rich for me, but are really tasty.:thumbsup2

Tina

Very tempting :goodvibes I think we need to finish eating up all the goodies from Christmas before I start buying more though ;)

I've joined a few months ago but cancelled as we wasn't too keen on them.

I have tried some of the slab/bar types they do and prefer them. :)

They definately are rich, and certainly different to any other chocolates out there, which is why we only have 2 or 3 a night.

If we ever have a chocolate craving it takes care of it better than Roses or Quality Street can :worship:

I think that's why I didn't like them as they are very rich & strong. I don't like Green & Black's either. :rolleyes:

Think DH said that was the choc he least like .... I love all the nuts one :goodvibes Funny I do not have much food in, but said to DH on the phone we wont starve even if we end up with hotel chocola on toast :lmao:

Ive joined today !!! :cool1::cool1:

I am in the minority here in that it only took me a day to eat the lot !! I didnt find them too rich at all but then I am a really bad chocoholic :rotfl2:

I found that if it said it contained alcohol boy did it contain alcohol and there was only 1 sort I thought was really disgusted and thatw ss the spice star one - yuk !!!

Thanks Mrs Pegasus for introducing me to such lovely chocolate a box every month is ok for the diet isnt it ???

Wow, Louise, not sure whether to be impressed or disgusted that it only took you a day to eat them :rotfl2:

The lovely Natalie bought me a box of Hotel chocolat choccies for Xmas and I still have at least half the box left (although, in fairness, half of them is because the flavours don't appeal to me - I'm waiting for next weekend so Nat can finish the ones I don't like ;))

As much as I would love to join the tasting club, I suspect I wouldn't like half of the flavours and probably shouldn't be eating the other half so, for now, I've managed to resist the temptation and will stick to having them as an occasional treat when someone else buys them for me :rotfl:

I feel I should point out tht dh did have a few and my kids had the batons !!
Is that making it any better or shall i just slink off quietly ??:rotfl2:
I love chocolate when im stressed and the box kept shouting me back "eat me eat me go on you know you want too !!"
oh god now ive gone and admitted to voices in my head too :lmao:

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I am laughing so much Louise :lmao: We were never brave enough to go straight in at one box a month. We have one every 3 months so we don't feel too guilty ordering the special boxes ;) There is a rather nice Excellence box due to come to us just in time for Valentines Day :love:

Mrs Pegasus

I'm in - we really love to recieve our choccies via the post. :thumbsup2
