hotel charges

Can anybody tell me if you can charge anything to your hotel from anywhere on Disney property. For instance we are staying at Animal Kingdom. If we want to go to another location for dinner can we charge it to our hotel room at Animal Kingdom? I would appreciate your help.

Yes -

At check in you will each get KTTW (key to the world) cards. These work as the key to your room and also to charge anything at WDW in all of the shops and restaurants. The morning you check out you will find an itemized bill has been slipped under your door. The charges can go on the credit card you gave at check in to authorize these charges. (You can, of course, get cards that do not authorize purchases).

We never carry money around WDW. And the receipt is a nice record of where we ate and what we did.
