Hotel Cancellation Threads?

Since there are dining cancellation threads would it be possible to have hotel cancellation threads when people are dropping their reservation during the discounts? We are going in Sept. and would like to switch to another hotel but there are only club-level rooms left there during the discount.

Although I'm not sure how soon they post again after they are cancelled.
