Hot Wheels at DTD?

I'm trying to convince DH to go to DTD this trip. I love shopping (who doesn't-besides DH?!), we have the free meal voucher for Planet Hollywood (I know it's only for 1 of us but dinner for 2 at the price of 1 is ok by us!), and I really want to check out the World of Disney, Wonderful World of Memories, and the Christmas shop at DTD.

DH is not wild about shopping, but he is a die-hard Hot Wheel collector and if I can tell him that the toy store in DTD has Hot Wheels I know he'll want to go (he might even go without me then!)...does anyone know if there are Hot Wheels at the toy store in DTD? Thought I'd try, since the Birnbaum's guide said it has many of the major brand-name toys...

Once Upon A Toy at DTD has hot wheels. They have a hot wheels version of the WDW bus among others.

I too am married to an avid Hot Wheels collector. When we went in January the only thing Hot Wheels that he found was a Disney Happiest Celebration on Earth tractor trailer. He found that at MK but he said they also had them at DTD.

It sounds like we have a lot in common...we both married Hot Wheel collectors in June and honeymooned at WDW...we were married in 1991 though. Good luck in getting him to go to DTD with you!!

I too have collected Hot Wheels over time, and been to WDW many times.

I have never seen the Hot Wheels brand anywhere in DTD or at the parks. There are collectible cars, but they are not Hot Wheel brands!

Disney did come out with cars under the Matchbox brand a few years ago...even them I never saw @ WDW.

Your Husband will have a great time!!! Just a note here ...Allegiant is flying out of ABE with direct flights for 89.00 to Sanford!

I recently bought a couple of toys for someone that said "Hot Wheels" on them at Once Upon A Toy. One was a WDW bus. I am definitely not a toy expert, but I distinctly remember typing Hot Wheels into the invoice description. I don't claim to have seen a bunch of them, only the couple that I purchased.

The resort replica bus is Matchbox, not Hot Wheels.

I just googled my way around the net.....

HOT WHEELS DOES HAVE DISNEY STUFF! (check on ebay)

The disney truck is definately HOT WHEELS (you are, as always ...., real good at Dis merchandise, Feralpeg)!

Also, on ebay it looks like for the new upcoming Disney movie CARS are HOT WHEELS, as they are listed, but I dont see the Hot wheels logo on any of the pics!

I was a bit suprised to see that Matchbox is now owned by Mattel, who owns Hot Wheels! This was always a BIG argument when I was a kid....what cars are better "matchbox" or "hot wheels." (just some silly info)

One more thing...Barbie doll is the largest selling Toy of all time, second to that is Hot Wheels! Okay I am done class!
