Do they let you use the hot tubs later than 8 pm? I know at some of the DVC resorts at WDW the hot tubs by the quiet pools are open all night unless you are loud or obnoxious. We like to soak in the evening to relax and 8 pm seems really early. I have been noticing the WDW resorts are closing the pools really early lately too.

In my experience, when the pool is closed, the pools are closed - hot tubs included. I’ve never noticed anyone in the hot tub after the 8 PM closing time. That said I’ve never tried and they are out of the way, so perhaps……

We are there in a couple weeks and I will try it for the sake of science and report back.

Thank you! We will be there at the end of January

We were just there over Christmas and the pools closest to the beach both were open past 8pm. Everywhere I had read 8pm they closed, but it seemed like they were open til 10pm while we were there?

In past August trips, most pools and hot tubs were open until 10 PM. Slides, Kids' areas, and Lazy River closed earlier.

We walked home from dinner tonight at 8:50PM (just checked the time stamp) and there were people swimming in the pool. I recall thinking they must be freezing.

Here’s our research. They close at 8pm but the two nights we were in at 8pm we stayed until 9pm and were not thrown out. There were others in with us (top level vs bottom level)

One night we were not in the hot tub and walked by and the rope saying closed was clearly up. I was not in swimwear so didn’t jump the rope to see what happened.

So the answer is “depends”. I did ask a couple cast members and they said it is flexible.

Hawaii is not Walt Disney World.

I believe in another thread you said you were from Wisconsin?

When it's 8pm in Kapolei, it's 1am in Madison. Embrace the time change and the jet lag. Go to bed early and wake up early. You'll still have just as many total hours to do things, but you'll beat the crowds everywhere.
