Hot jets in Poly's volcano pool?

Has anyone sat in the seats near the hot jets in Poly's volcano pool....I did some research on the Poly site and I guess (as we all know there's no jacuzzi) there are some hot jets in the deep end of the pool that could make for a pseudo jacuzzi experience. I would love to stay in lagoon concierge if this experience somewhat mediates the no spa issue. Thanks for any info!!

There are jets and even a built in bench, but its not hot. Also was a favorite place for many of the kids so not especially relaxing.

I think I read somewhere there is no hot tub at the Poly because of Hawaiian culture, some thing along those lines, not sure exactly what it was someone else must know.

There are soooo many jacuzzi's in the Hawaiian hotels....we've never stayed at a hotel on any of the islands that didn't have one.... can't figure out the cultural issue? Alas, I will stick with the deluxes that offer the hot tubs
