Hot air balloon?

Has anyone ever done this at DTD? I saw it on the website and it's something my kids would like to do while we are there... any feedback on this? I wasnt sure where to post this!

Your title may be confusing, since there are lots of hot air balloon ride companies in the area, but you are talking about the tethered balloon in DTD. I think it is helium.

There was a recent discussion of a Groupon available for the DTD one. You may want to check to see if it is still available.

My brother and I did back in early November. We were there before 10am and it was only $10/person. It was a beautiful morning - blue skies and we were the only two to go up with the pilot. Got to stay up for a good 15 minutes (when the next family showed up) and had some awesome views. I believe the price goes up after 10am.
